The South African Weather Service has decided to make their information available only to paid up subscribers. These subscriptions cost R250 per month! We strongly object to these exorbitant fees and will seek ways to have it scrapped. In the mean time AOPA SA has established a country wide network of weather observers. before you fly you can contact us with the details of your flight and we will research your route and destination and report back.
